Australian Master of Early Childhood Education, Cambridge University Teaching Certificate CELTA holder; British SAPERE Philosophy for Children Level 1 Community of Inquiry Facilitator. 13 years of experience in English teaching to all ages and IB-PYP/Reggio-inspired/PBL teaching from K to Year 2, including high school entrance examination, IELTS, interdisciplinary, play-based and gamified teaching and course development. 2 years of experience in teaching training for parents, students, and professionals. Active volunteer teacher and support teacher in various environmental protection and educational NGOs since undergraduate. During my study in Australia, I was deeply aware of the unfair distribution of educational resources and the social problems potentially to be brought about, so now I’m focused on teaching in the community and the countryside and trying my best to help children from disadvantaged groups. My motto from, Dewey and Tao Xingzhi, is “Society is school while life itself is education”.
