Stepping Stones China is proud to announce that between trainings for our Classroom Teaching Program and our After School Program, we have trained a whopping 320 new volunteers for this semester! Our most recent training, on 12 October 2014, had over 100 volunteers attend, the largest training we have ever conducted. From high school students to undergraduates abroad, from expat families to local Chinese residents, Stepping Stones teachers come from diverse backgrounds. All of them have one thing in common, however: the desire to help migrant children overcome their socioeconomic disadvantages through education.
